Returning from an out of town trip Nathan King and wife Wanda Joyce pulled into their drive early Saturday morning to find their home on fire. Their daughter Cassey King, a senior at Phillips High School, was on her senior trip at the time of the fire, leaving no one at home. Haleyville Fire Department quickly responded to a 9-1-1 call and fought the fire into daylight. Pebble Fire Department was called to assist primarily with manpower. Pebble firemen worked to extinguish the smoldering fire.
